Urban Legend: Lincoln-Kennedy

I'm loving this :) Yeah I'm re posting this one. I know I maybe little too late to really get way too much this urban legend thingy. But then again I so love it I don't know why.. Oh again well;

The many people that have studied the past Presidents of the United States of America are always looking for new and interesting facts about each of the Presidents. Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy are the two Presidents that seem to have many amazing connections and similarities, whether it is a minor or major fact. Here is a list of interesting facts about Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy:

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946

Lincoln failed to win the Vice Presidential nomination in 1856.
Kennedy failed to win the Vice Presidential nomination in 1956.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Lincoln defeated Stephen Douglas who was born in 1813.
Kennedy defeated Richard Nixon who was born in 1913.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.

Both wives lost children while in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.

Both Presidents were shot in the head.

Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy.
